Hey! I am Paula Kiszla and I have lived in Mobile since I was 10 years old. I graduated from Murphy High School and then attended the University of Alabama where I graduated with a degree in Communications with a concentration in Graphic Design and a minor in History. I worked at Lewis Communications for 10 years and then I “retired” to raise my children. I have 3 sons, Cameron (26), Luke (24) and Matthew (19). My husband, Bill, is from Indiana and is the administrator at Armbrecht Jackson law firm.
After my children were all in school, I began teaching 3K at Ashland Place Methodist Preschool and I taught there for 9 years. For the last 13 years, I have been teaching Art Camps in my home studio. Like Pablo Picasso, I believe that “every child is an artist” and I love teaching children how to express themselves and find their creative talents through art. I have been teaching art at the EEC since the spring of its first year. I love this school and what they teach the children who attend. There is always such a sweet spirit in this school and I feel blessed that I am going to get to be there every day.
