My name is Cazra Guy. I graduated from the University of South Alabama. I majored in Elementary Education. Seven days after my graduation from college, I married my high school sweetheart, Joshua Guy. I worked a few years in the Mobile County Public School System, and then I was blessed with a job teaching 3rd grade for St. Paul’s Episcopal School. I taught a couple of years longer, before having my first child, Madison. When she was 2, I had a baby boy, Brantley. Madison is now in first grade at SPS, and Brantley is in 3K at St. Paul’s Early Education Center. I have stayed home with my children since 2007. While I was a stay-at-home mom, I was still very busy. I am an active member of Junior League of Mobile, and I was a facilitator of online, professional development courses for teachers across the state of Alabama through e-Learning for Alabama.
I knew for a very long time that I would eventually return to the classroom. I loved my experience at St. Paul’s School so much and really wanted a chance to return one day. When it was announced that St. Paul’s would open a preschool, I knew right away that I wanted to be part of it! As a parent, I am so incredibly excited that my son gets to attend such a dynamic preschool. I wish that every child in Mobile, could have the kind of school experience that we offer at the EEC. Every child deserves to be loved and cherished and we make sure that happens while our students are in our care at St. Paul’s Early Education Center.
